hello! im writing now with my head lying on the pillow.. haha so lazy right :P yeah and anyway today's thursday.. so started off the lesson with english presentation by shaun's group on xenotransplantation (it was quite hilarious) lol yeah. and then looking at ihc from a multi-dimensional approach, it can be classified into 'boring, boring and BORING!' i wanted to sleep larh. hoho. after recess had chinese, bio, ihe, chem and math.. tomorrow is friday already.. so many tests coming up.. hahah.. im anxious about ace now.. bleh

hello :) today i went back to school.. had quite abit of stuff on in school.. but nevertheless, sorry for not posting the past few days.. and i came across an extremely interesting article by our own sec 2 on the message board. please feel free to read it :
A Proposal Regarding Hair Length RequirementsFirst, I would like to state my personal case. Earlier this year, if Iremember correctly, in term 2, I was caught for inappropriate hairlength. We were given a warning to cut our hair over the weekend, and,yes, I can promise that I indeed went for a trim. I cut every part ofmy hair, but when I came back, I was dismayed to be reported again,and thus received 1 demerit point which was reportedly classified as"Not abiding to teacher's instructions" or something along that line.Please allow me to attempt a quote. There was a SMB message posted inthe first half of the year, whose contents were vaguely: "Back of hairmust not touch collar, fringe must not reach eyebrows/eyes, nosideburns allowed." Please pardon me if I have misquoted, as theoriginal text has been purged from the archive of the SMB. This isjust a case in point.The point is that the public view long hair as okay, as long as it isproperly kept and maintained. To be honest, as long as the hair looksneat, having slightly longer hair should be allowed.I hope this will be carefullyreviewed before being dismissed as not respecting school rules. I knowof someone from 2M, whom I will not name as I have not actually askedhim, with practically shaved hair. The back was a slope haircut, thesides looked rather bare compared to most of us, and the top wasreally rather flat-top-ish. Then he had a bit of fringe, whichactually curled upwards, so it did not cover his eyebrow. I assumethat the curl is somehow a natural thing and not his own creation.Yet, he was asked to cut it off. Now, he looks (pardon my analogy)like an egg.Public image is the key in the discussion.The following is not an official argument or quote, but my ownquestioning around in the last few months now and then have yieldedthe following result:HwaChong-ians actually look more "unglam" with the current guidelinescausing many people to cut regularly, and to keep a short and "neat"hairstyle.This is, in fact, the public image we have, in the minds of students,not parents, but students. The image parents have is actually alreadylisted above. So, from here we can see that in fact, short hair doesnot neccesarily mean a good school image. So, what do I suggest? My proposal is simple. Based on the SMB messagementioned earlier, which I take as the bare minimum and the shortestand "worst" a haircut can go, simply:1) Sideburns. Sideburns should be allowed. People(generally) look abit bare without sideburns. The proposal is: Toaround half of the ear. 2) Back of the head. These days, people are starting to cut layered hair. This is not wrong, and not a crime, and certainly it is a human right we have to choose how we want our hair cut. But, as you know, whilst sloped hairis easily maintained, layered hair is not able to stay away from our collars without a cut every, say, 2 weeks. Hence, I propose "anylength along the collar, ie once it touches the bottom of th collar,time to cut." From 2M17, a clearer example.3) Side of the head. The general guideline is that hair should not cover the ear. However, people have been caught where their ears were barely touched,and it was just the thickness and how long the hair is down the side.I will not be proposing anything very certain here due to differinghead sizes. However, I do appeal for more leniency from the teacherson this part. Hair should be allowed cross the ear at the side,although if the teacher thinks it is too untidy then he can give thestudent a warning, but not dish out demerit points quickly. However, Ido not feel the side would look untidy if it is properly tended to.4) Top of the head.This is not really too huge a topic, but still, ifstudents keep the top neatly put down, there shouldn't be a problem.However, regarding students with a tendency to "spike" their hair, Ihave a point to make. Basically the spike should not look like a peacock head, or a Q-Tip. Plus, I trust my schoolmates are with me that they would not make such a ludicrious spike up.5) Fringe.There have been arguments about what is the best length allowed. Tokeep it short and simple, I propose that the fringe should be allowedas far down as the bottom of the eye, but nothing more. We can, forexample, comb it to the side so it does not affect our vision.However, I feel punishments should be dealt out if students blatantlygrow fringes down to their mouths, because that is absolutelyridiculous. Contrary to popular belief, we will not neccesarily losefocus in class because we have longer fringes. People comb it to the side.My final point: Hairstyles. I am sure everyone is with me that mohawksare not allowed. I personally think it is ugly anyway, and theultimate sign of a gangster. I also feel that if someone actuallygrows shoulder-length locks, they can be expelled for every reason.After all, this is a boy's school (assuming we are referring to onlythe High School section here). today we had half day... but it wasn't really nice after all.. cause our chem teacher wanted to have extra lessons with us. then in the end we spent our recess having the lesson.. so last 10 minute of recess i ran to canteen for a bowl of curry potatoes! xD ya after that went back for chinese lesson and lessons ended at 1120. today's pretty cold.. i guess it's because of the rain.. does anyone know whether if it is the rainy season now? hoho if everyday were like that it'd be nice :) just now, i watched naruto shippuuden 67. they're still doing about fillers, i hope they get into storyline soon haha. i have been spending the whole day at home playing computer. feeling kinda not used to it >< gonna watch tang xin feng bao at 9 anyway its the last epi!

hello. today has been a super stupid day. cause got common test.. then i write 3+ pages for functional and expository essay each. yay hope to get some good scores out of it. haha. but anyways, had training at 4+ which was pretty fun.. though boring.. hoho. hm i read samuel's blog.. just realised he watches tang xin feng bao also. lols. its damn nice! everyone must go watch. you can go find it at veoh just type in 'heart of greed' and you'll get the show. but anyway it talks about family breaking up and there's alot of conflict because of MONEY :/ haha ya but is quite nice though. it won 6 awards in the hongkong dunno what award ceremony thingy luh. but its kinda cool. tomorrow is the last episode, hope it will be super nice and come out with a happy ending (:

Hello, today has been pretty dramatic lol.. it started all in the morning.. actually it was quite like any other normal day in the morning when i went to school.. just sleepy and so on.. slept for 15 min before going for assembly. at the assembly, after flag raising, it was the announcements! so our judo team came up just like annually with their trophies, followed by gym, and other competitions so on... lol then today everyone dam zi dong larh, all give the trophies to mr hon (later you'll know why, cause it always used to be the vice principal) OR rather DR hon lol. then so after 5 announcements of prize winners, the morning announcer dam cute, so he invited hon to the mike to announce his stuff HAHA. the mood of the crowd was already damn high cause we know we will get a half day holiday! so he came up... first thing he said 'do you know why i have a piece of paper on my hand? it is because we have too many achievements this year of which i cannot remember' so he started announcing MANY MANY achievements be it whatever competition.. and THEN. he went 'we know everyone deserves a break and the teachers have worked really hard and they deserve a break too' so we were like INFINITY ON HIGH. then he said, 'we shall have the break on friday, release at 1120!' then everyone immediately booed LOL. i also sian 1/2 liao larhs. SO i had to bear with the stupid double IHC lessons and 4 math period. omg it almost killed me.. lol.. yup! :D so after school had training, which was super fun. so many people were there.. haha. and after that went to my cousin's house to get her to teach me some stuff. so back now.. probably gonna sleep soon.. hope to watch naruto soon! hi yo! today i woke up at 12+ yesterday 3:30 am sleep lols chionging dota.. so today woke up chiong work all the way then 4 pm started playing dota... after that went to vivo for dinner.. after that played dota at queensway 2v2 haha. i just kinda realised i wanna turn 16 faster.. although its in 10 months' time.. but can do lotsa things.. like go clubbing hoho. yeah just now my bro they all were shuffling (some type of dancing) and it was quite cool! i want to learn haha. then at 16 go dance at the dance floor! :D so now.. gotta go sleep soon.. rawr. its school again :(

Today was not very good haha, in the morning when we went for assembly it was cancelled -.- then had to talk back all the way to class again, yup. so first 2 lesson had my math test, so i don't feel like talking about it anymore. lala. then after that got back my chem test result - b3 lol lucky lucky :P yep so after school played volleyball.. but not many people uh! and tomorrow is jx and arnold's beach volleyball finals at novena! but arnold may not be able to make it eh? must go, arnold, if not i have to play for you -.- AND I WILL COPE YOUR $250 PRIZE haha. must jia you luh! but if u really sick then i no choice must play liao ;P yup so gonna watch naruto and slack... yeah :D

hello, today was a pretty normal day at school.. so i guess you could call it boring again. yup! today had assembly, so umm okay la during assembly was talking about some integrity issues. i realise our principal likes to assume things and argue, making everything in line to what he sees. so today he was talking about our students if caught cheating or plagiarising anything could be expelled of school. so he gave alot of arguments and he surveyed who disagree. of course nobody dare right :D ya then this was what i thought :
Cheating or plagiarism should be considered on a case-by-case basis. For example, the student life in our times is not like the past. The teachers and principal claims that by managing our time well, we will be able to do our work. However, they have not thought about the progressing competitiveness in today's society and the students' workload, as compared to the past, are definitely increasing by alot. So there was an example of T.T Durai, who embezzled funds and gave fake invoices. They were talking about how he 'chose' his own path but actually as a comparison to our student case, it really depends. There are two types of students - one group who copy or plagiarises sometimes because they have no time, the other one is completely lazy and relies his work on others. So, even making mistakes and sacrificing integrity, I think what is important is that after the whole thing, the student must make it up by going back to learn about what he has lost to copying. well i'm sure that copying is damn prominent in our school. so after all, we won't have time. if one is too rigid and chooses to be a person of integrity all the time, he wouldn't be liked by his peers too. however, this does not mean that im agreeable to bigger stuff such as c&p projects. so actually it all depends on the case, and i think that hon is too rash by putting forward the idea of 'students who are found cheating or plagiarising can be expelled from the school'. the school, is to teach students, not to ban them from it. if we don't teach them while they're still in a good school, i think its worse if they get into lousy schools and being left as that.
yup so for whole day been quite slack! yay. gonna watch tv later and do work :)

hello, today is project's day in our school.. so basically it means that there are no classes today. i am not doing any project, so i am supposed to go to the auditorium to watch the other presentations (slacking in other terms) yeah and that's what I did exactly for before recess. had flag raising and stuff as usual. but at 8, everyone started on their projects day! i kept my bag in the library and went to the auditorium.. hoho yep. then after that it was damn cold in the auditorium cause it was like raining outside then inside so cold :/ if only got a bear come and hug me haha :D yeah but after recess was slacking in the library all the way. was initially playing my Naruto 2 in galvs's homeroom! then after that lester kept asking me for the psp to play then lend him lo. haha. after that he went off, so i went to 1st level of library and was talking to other people. haha there were a bunch of people crowding at one corner of the library, so i went there to see 2 laptops being played by 2 people (DOTA LAN) lol. yea so quite funny laarh. ;D sianz. so had a talk desmond (he's a pretty nice guy) but girls would choose to see him as hot i guess HAHA. so desmond, if u see this, please help me postpone the soccer league again! thxthx bleh. after that had a talk with galvs. he said i had a very interesting flow of thought.. haha never mind this is complicating shan't mention about it xD. after that went to play the laptop for awhile.. play against 1 easy ai. i was damn funny cause i was using techies and computer(easy) using naga. i had to go in three minutes. so i chose techies. and bought blink dagger boots and some other stuff. after that i lowered his life and blink suicide but he left 40+ T_T then i went to lunch with galvs liao. yup then had training... yay so fun haha. we did alot of stuff and now my leg is aching.. heh i think if i PT more and MORE AND MORE i COULD/MIGHT (not certainly) be able to 3m the court (never mind if you don't understand as long as vb players do. hoho.) yup so that's about all! gotta memorise MAN JIANG HONG :/

hello thanks for reading people. um today started the day pretty early at training.. haha. although not alot of ppl but still hmm quite okay. did some pt and training... yeah! must improve volleyball liao. i feel abit far from target. yup so.. after that went home.. played wc3. i wonder if my NARUTO is out i've been waiting for it for donkey years. haha. so went to visit my grandmother just now and then had a long talk with my aunt and uncle about my hair (not exactly long, but about 15 min) yup. this coming monday is youth day.. to all youths out there (me and you) enjoy your time as a youth! :D

hello, yeah today's friday... so to ortus it may be the last day of their fun exchange programme with cedar ;D yeah anyway, today was quite okay.. had double math in the morning.. then after that followed by double chinese and double chemistry. today seemed to pass really fast haha. yup chem was doing SPA! :D mrs seck so strict. like ready to pounce on you anytime for talking to your friends xD yupyup so managed to finish it.. and then after that went to made IC.. haha dam cute la. i took my s1 photo there to make the passport but then the person say my that pic look too kiddy which is different from what i look. (i don't look old, just mature :D) yeah so had to take another photo with shaved head. rawr. so have been slacking since after school till now.. haha gonna play abit and watch Naruto back to back double episodes HURRAY. thanks for reading (: and anyway hope nickyeo recovers soon from his hand fracture :/

hello, thanks for reading people. just happened to be umm abit in a frenzy mode day cause i have to revise for chem test. so abit siao siao i think everyone is like that too haha. Today had english and IHC, so quite boring.. realised haven't started on my english and ihc project.. gotta work on it really soon (: yeah and then after that had chinese, bio, ihE, chem and math. i think our class is getting abit haywire luh. we made mrs seck pissed. haix sometimes it would be nice if someone just didn't cut her with extra comments haha ;P then today quite slack actually.. just that was having the chemistry test on the atmosphere, ionic equation and qualitative analysis. hoho. so after that was chionging basketball at basketball court! xD played with yang fan, yongrong, and other people heh. after that went home.. im looking so forward to double naruto tomorrow. have been waiting for 2 weeks le. getting extremely desperate and sick! yup so quite sianned now umm so slacking abit have to do math homework.. yup. finally get some breather. well.. please tag at the tagbox when you pass by.. make it lively with some comments :D

Hello, thanks for reading again. :) today i woke up and i was damn tired (everyday late sleep) so my dad was fetching me to school. at the start, i fell asleep liao, until when i opened my eyes again i was in school already. so sianned. went to class, wanted to sleep but in the end i didn't for no reason. yeah, after that first lesson had english lessons, followed by ihc and recess. next was ASSEMBLY! today's post shall highlight why assembly has been so fun xD. today we had a speaker coming from (i forgot the company name but it does pest control for many places in singapore for e.g. ECP) yeah then after that this speaker he was pretty damn good he made many jokes during his conversation (he's from 'The Best is Yet to Be') down the road anyway, do i still have to say what school it is? :D *FROM this point, I suggest readers who gets disgusted easily stop reading (I KNOW THIS WARNING WON'T WORK BUT IT'S JUST HERE FOR NOTHING'S SAKE xD)* yeah after that he was into some Maggot Therapy thingy where is was about using maggots to feed on the human body (probably on the legs) where it is suffering an infection and has pus and other disgusting stuff on it. so he showed us PICTURES. it was f'ing disgusting i tell you. the first case study was a woman who had a piece of her leg covered with infection on the surface. so they put maggots for 48 hours on the leg (400 maggots per time) and switched 400 maggots after 48 hours. after that, her wound became LIKE A PIECE OF FRESH BLOOD (all the unhealthy thingy was eaten up by the maggots and they stop eating when its healthy flesh, so yeah) and we were showed a second case where this time, this person had the roots of the infection deep inside. so they continued the same treatment and after that they started eating into her bones and we WERE shown the picture of her leg (middle of the leg at the shoelace part were all her bones) and we were like :O yeah so after that had IHE, physics, recess, bio prac and math.. so that's pretty all.. :P

Hello, today has been a pretty 'bad' day for me, with the book circle (oh i practically did nothing and got all my info from mates over at 3A2 thanks lol) then we played with the Smart Board. i didn't know that whatever i wrote on the board would stay there. so i wrote the "f" word on the board (my teacher was at the back with other groups discussing) then my friends told me the thing would stay and i was like OMG. haha. after that i waited for the page to come back (it was a loop slide show) and i erased it. Phew. haha. after that i went for PE hip-hop dance. this is the thing that highlights the title of my post. i was counting class strength and i went to report to mr toh. so the first thing he asked me "wei shen me ni de tou fa jian zhe yang?" (why did you cut your hair like that?) so i told him i didn't cut it like that and i told him it was an illness. after that, guess what he did? he spoke in the microphone "zhong yu you ren de tou fa be wo shao le" (finally someone's hair is lesser than mine) so i actually felt upset. everyone practically laughed but some of my friends didn't. it was already bad enough for me.. so i got humiliated like this in front of the sec 3s. but thankfully some of them didn't and i really appreciate that, yeah. so after that i had a long day ahead and damn tired. sigh..
